HISTORY OF BURKA
?Origin of the Burka...to be known! Did you know
If all journalists could include this article in their ducks, there would be no more Burqas in France either....
But will they dare...? To be continued...
It would be good to remind current burqa wearers of this.
Maybe they would dress differently.
The burqa comes from the Cult of Astarte in ancient Mesopotamia. To honor the goddess of physical Love, all women, without exception, had to prostitute themselves once a year in the sacred woods which surrounded the temples of the goddess... To avoid being recognized, the women of the high society took the habit of veiling themselves completely.
And don't forget this: Mustapha Kemal, alias Ataturk, 1st president of Turkey, from 1923 to 1938, had found the right trick to shut up the fundamentalists of the time.
He put an end to the wearing of the burqa, making a simple law, with immediate effect: all Turkish women have the right to
dress as they wish. However, all prostitutes must wear the burqa. The next day, we no longer saw a burqa in Türkiye...
!And it's still in effect
In fact, there is no text in the Qur’an that requires you to cover your face, but rather it recommends wearing modest clothing without any cheating. .
There was a time when the burqa was similar to the chadri, the traditional dress of Afghan women. This full-length model is very modern. It was imposed in the 1990s by the fanatical Islamic Afghan Taliban movement, sparking numerous disagreements among Islam specialists. In fact, the Qur’an does not seem to impose any dress code.
