Heba Al-Hilali wins the “Tifinagh” National Olympics Award in its 11th session
The student Heba Al-Hilali from the Zagora Directorate of the Regional Academy of Education and Training in the Draa-Tafilalet region was crowned first place in the national Tamazight dictation competition “Tifinagh Olympiad” in its eleventh session, at the conclusion of the activities of the 15th session of the Tifaouine Festival, which was organized over two days in solidarity with the victims of the “earthquake”. High Atlas”, in the Amlen community of the Tafraouat district of the Tiznit province, at the end of the week.
The student, Maryam Aswab, from the Inezgane District, in the Souss-Massa region, won second place, and the student, Mehdi Boulaish, from the Tiznit District, in the same region, ranked third. In the national competition, in which 24 female and male students participated, representatives of the regional academies of education and training throughout the Kingdom, and students from the affected areas in both the Taroudant and Al Haouz regions.
According to the organizers, the national “Tifinagh Olympiad” demonstration, which was organized at the “Ameln” Collegiate School in Tafraoute (Tiznit), is a spelling competition dedicated to testing the skills of male and female students in writing using the Amazigh letters “Tifinagh”, where he participated in the competition. Male and female students belong to a group of regional academies for education and training across the Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that this National Olympiad, which was organized in its eleventh edition, is the result of a tripartite partnership between the Association, the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture, and the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Souss-Massa region, in coordination with the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education and Primary Education in Tiznit, with the aim of promoting the Amazigh language among young Moroccans.
