The Prime Minister of Libya receives notables and mayors of Amazigh municipalities
The head of the Libyan National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, received yesterday evening, Thursday, in the Al-Nasr Forest Halls Complex, notables and mayors of the Amazigh municipalities in the mountain and western coast regions, to discuss a number of local and political files, and to identify the problems and difficulties facing the municipalities in providing their services.
The Mayor of Jado Municipality, Omar Tabuneh, presented, according to “Our Government Platform,” the difficulties facing the municipalities, the most important of which is organizing the work of the security directorates, and listening to a number of observations regarding their administrative boundaries, in addition to the urgent needs of the municipalities in the service aspect.
During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba stressed the need for continued coordination between municipalities and the Ministry of Interior to maintain security, and to listen to all the points that contribute to organizing the directorates to carry out their tasks.
Al-Dabaiba stressed the need to follow up on decisions issued to name schools and births with the relevant ministries.
The meeting was attended by the mayors of the municipalities of Nalut, Yafran, Zuwara, Wazin, Al-Ruhaibat, Al-Qalaa, and Jado, the heads of the councils of notables of Zuwara, Jado, Al-Qalaa, and Al-Ruhaibat, and a number of members of civil society in the municipalities.
