When a female owns a project that she manages by herself, and the first and last decision in this work is her decision, that female is called a businesswoman, meaning she is the master of her work and she is the boss in it. She does not receive orders from anyone, but rather issues them.
The land of Iraq and its ancient civilizations witnessed many businesswomen, the oldest of whom go back to the Sumerian civilization. Below is a simple enumeration of some Sumerian businesswomen in ancient Iraq, according to chronological order:
1) Siduri: - 2800 BC. She was a Sumerian woman who owned a tavern that she managed and worked in. She advised Gilgamesh to abandon his journey in search of immortality.
2) Kugh Bao: - 2500 BC. She was the Sumerian Queen Kubaba. She owned her own business. She owned and managed a dance and wine bar in the city of Kish, and this working woman rose to become the queen of the country.
3) As for: - 2330 BC, she was a married Sumerian woman who ran her business alone without interference or assistance from her husband, according to records. She did not limit herself to trading in wool and minerals across countries, but rather directed many of the profits from the trading to real estate investment. She bought a lot of property. And real estate and manage it themselves.
