World stars and celebrities flock to the 2024 SAG Awards

The 2024 awards season is coming to a close, but not before the Screen Actors Guild honors some of Hollywood's best acting talent. Therefore, the 2024 SAG Awards ceremony, in its 30th edition, begins at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles with the arrival of the most prominent Hollywood stars and actors on the red carpet of the ceremony.
Hollywood stars arrive at the 2024 SAG Awards
Among the stars arriving to the gray carpet early for the SAG Awards were actresses Joy King, Kat Graham, Chris Perfetti, Leighton Meester, Nichelle Turner, Loni Love, Alan Ruck, Tan France, Elaine Welteroth, Dallas Liu, Billy Harris, and Taylor Zakhar. Perez, Pamela Greenwalt, American actress Ally Wong, SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher, Ariana Greenblatt, Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki, British actress Juno Temple, American actress Danielle Brooks, Cillian Murphy, Glenn Boyle, Cara Judd, Joely Fisher, Annette Badland, Jessica Chastain, Patrick Wilson and Dagmara Dominczyk, Olivia Williams, Melissa McCarthy, Reese Witherspoon, Naomi Watts, Brie Larson, America Ferrera and her husband Ryan Pierce Williams, Meryl Streep, Erica Alexander, Michael Cera, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Aniston, Hannah Waddingham, Janie Collins , Matt Bomer, Billie Eilish, Finneas O'Connell, Ayo Edbury, Paul Giamatti, Margot Robbie, Rachel Brosnahan, Zoe Winters, Justine Loeb, Taraji P. Henson, American actress Anna Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and more stars.
Among the most prominent duos that arrived at the ceremony were; Leighton Meester and her husband, Adam Brody, were photographed walking the gray carpet side by side. The couple married in 2014, and they have two children together.
Highlights from the 2024 SAG Awards
The show will be without a host, as there has not been one since 2021. "Queer Eye" star Tan France and "Project Runway" reality series star Elaine Welteroth will host the gala pre-show.
As for the ceremony’s award presenters, a large group of film and television stars will perform this task, as SAG-AFTRA announced a list of 30 presenters for the ceremony, including; Jennifer Aniston, Idris Elba, Jessica Chastain, Erika Alexander, Emily Blunt, Danielle Brooks, Taraji P. Henson, Colman Domingo, Brendan Fraser, Melissa McCarthy, Billie Eilish, Glen Powell, Alexander Skarsgard, Troy Kotsur, Glen Powell, Storm Reid, Omar C, Greta Lee, and Naomi Watts.
Taking the podium will be the President of SAG-AFTRA; Fran Drescher, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt will host a “Devil Wears Prada” reunion.
Elba (51 years old) is expected to open the ceremony, while Aniston (55 years old) is scheduled to honor the Funny Girl icon; Barbra Streisand Lifetime Achievement Award.

The nominees were announced on January 10 by Kumail Nanjiani and Isa Rae. Like previous awards ceremonies, none of them were without competition from Oppenheimer and Barbie for the most prominent awards. At tonight's ceremony, the two films that achieved great success last summer will compete for four nominations each. While "American Fiction" and "Killers of the Flower Moon" each received three nominations.
TV drama “Succession” received five nominations, while “The Bear,” “The Last of Us” and “Ted Lasso” each received four nominations.
