The launch of the training of teachers of the Amazigh subject in the primary school in the Tangier region
The first leg of the training courses organized for the benefit of Amazigh teachers in the primary education field at the level of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region began yesterday, Monday, in the city of Tetouan.
The Regional Academy for Education and Training highlighted, in a news note, that the first leg of the training courses for Amazigh teachers witnessed the participation of more than 200 Amazigh-speaking dual primary education teachers, who expressed their desire to benefit from training in this field.
The Academy considered that these training courses, which are conducted in person, are in line with the goals and obligations of the 2022-2026 road map and its procedural framework, and also come within the framework of continuing to implement workshops for the gradual generalization of teaching the Amazigh language in the primary education stream.
The first training course will extend over a period of five days, with the first 3 days being devoted to familiarization with the Amazigh language, while male and female beneficiaries will receive special training in the Didactics of the subject during the last two days.
The Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region announced that to achieve the desired goals of this important national workshop, a second training station will be organized over a period of two weeks, dedicated to carrying out self-training activities by the beneficiary professors and professors, and to accompany them remotely by the regional components.
A third in-person training station has been programmed to extend over five days, and its activities will be devoted to deepening knowledge of the Amazigh language and the teachings of the subject.
