An archaeological discovery in the Al-Zigen region
An archaeological discovery in the Al-Zigen region 1--331
Today, in the Al-Zigen region, northeast of Sebha, about 80 km, inscriptions from the Libyan Tifinagh, Libico Berber, were found. They apparently belong to the eastern Libyan script prevalent in Libya, along with stylized drawings, which are geometric lines representing horses, ostriches, and humans. I believe that the appearance of horses in the drawings dates back to part of them. The Germanic civilization, which was famous for drawings of horses and chariots, and also seen inscriptions representing human feet, which is one of the mythological customs widespread in Libya, where we see the inscriptions of feet on the slopes of Mount Nafusa and Jebel Souda, as well as the mountains of Tataouine. Also, inscriptions dating back to the Islamic era were found, representing the names of people and the two testimonies.
And he stumbled. On materials made of stones representing arrow blades and scrapers
Our friend Dr. Riadh Werfilli, professor of archeology at Sebha University, inspected the site
