A scene of hybrid beings
A scene from a monument dating back to the Assyrian era, made of black limestone from Nimrud, Mesopotamia
Where we see two men chaining hybrid creatures, and in this mural we see the tendency of the people of Mesopotamia to carve a hybrid creature with an animal body and a human head!
Ras plants are hybrids that tend to belong to diverse species from their course, and perhaps from this biological diversity, which arouses the admiration of enemies and likens them to chained animals.
What caught my attention were the iron chains with which the two men restrained these hybrid creatures. They are a group of iron rings linked together and are completely similar to the currently existing restraint chains!
You are in front of a mural from the land of Mesopotamia, the land of achievements and inventions
The mural is in the British Museum.
