Did you know that Enheduanna, daughter of Sargon of Akkad, king of the Akkadian Empire in Iraq, was the first writer and poet known to the world and history?
She is also considered the inventor of the idea of the personal signature and the owner of the first signature in history, and despite being her father’s advisor in government and the priestess of the temple of Nanar, the moon god in Ur, her literary interests left a large mark on history, as she left a group of literary works and also contributed fundamentally to defending women’s issues.
