?Mysterious death well in France
A spring of water that never runs out and whose source no one knows is a strange phenomenon that has occurred over many centuries and has baffled scientists.
No matter how many people try to explore this spring, the mystery remains unexplained, making the spring one of the mysteries of the universe that have not yet been solved.
The mysterious spring is known as Fosse Dionne and is located in Tonnerre in the French Burgundy region.
Many may wonder about the reason for this name, “The Well of Death.” The answer is simple: unfortunately, everyone who tried to discover his secret was doomed to death.
Where in 1974, two professional divers descended into the narrow passages of limestone rocks surrounding the mysterious spring, but instead of finding the source of the spring, they lost their lives.
The attempts were renewed again in 1996, when the town of Tonnerre hired another diver to get to the bottom of things, but he also died, and the last attempts to decipher the mystery of the source of the mysterious spring were last year.
The mayor of the French town hired professional diver Pierre-Eric Desain to solve the puzzle. He descended more than 70 meters underground and ventured more than 370 meters from the entrance to the cavity, but he was unable to reach its source, so the spring remains a secret and no one knows its source.
The reason why it is called the Mysterious Well is because it is a renewable water well that never runs out without anyone being able to determine its source, and it always spits out huge amounts of water with a flow of up to 311 liters per second on a regular basis.
The flow power can also increase to 3000 liters per second in rainy weather conditions.
