Four countries in the world have no trees
Four countries in the world have no trees 1---139
There are four countries in the world that have almost no trees, or you will find limited signs of trees that were planted by human intervention and did not grow naturally.
1. Greenland 🇬🇱 - Land without green
What comes to your mind when you hear the word Greenland, which is the translation of the name Greenland into Arabic? Trees, forests, and lush landscapes of tranquil green spaces come to mind? So, if you think that Greenland will be the “land of green views”, you are wrong! Thousands and thousands of miles of Greenland's terrain have no living green plan. So why is it called green earth? Thanks to the clever Scandinavians who gave it this name to attract more settlers.
2. Qatar 🇶🇦 - the real desert
Qatar is rich. Qatar is safe; Qatar has the largest airline in the world and is also home to a large number of skyscrapers. But unfortunately, this luxurious country has no trees. Qatar is true to the definition of desert in all aspects, and hardly receives any amount of rain throughout the year. Well, the rich people in Qatar can't see their country lagging behind in anything, so they are creating a man-made forest of over 40,000 trees, the largest in the world!
3. Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 - The most magical place
I would call the Faroe Islands one of the most magical places on earth. You'll find a vast carpet of meadow covering Faro's rocky terrain, a huge flock of sheep, and lots of cute little feathered creatures (including the national bird, the oystercatcher), But no tree has found a home in the Faroe Islands. Yes, you can see some medicinal shrubs that can be the reason behind healthy living on the island.

4. Haiti 🇭🇹 - victim of deforestation
It is said that until 1923, about 60% of Haiti's area was covered with trees. However, this small Caribbean country has fallen prey to widespread deforestation, and today only a few trees remain. Aerial photographs taken in the 1940s and 1950s show massive deforestation in the country, and by 1986, Haiti had reached the peak of its environmental crisis. Of course, when there are no trees, there are no products you get from them. The environmental crisis quickly turned into an economic crisis as well!
“She smelled the absence of trees before she saw it…” says author Ayanna Mathis, describing a scene in her novel The Twelve Tribes of Hattie. The absence of trees has made life very difficult for countries like Greenland and Haiti.
