In pictures.. The curtain comes down on the “Teleli Amazigh Music and Culture” festival in Ait Ourir
On the evening of Sunday, May 22nd, in Ait Ourir, in the Al Haouz region, the curtain came down on the activities of the first session of the National Festival “Teleli for Amazigh Music and Culture” by conducting cultural and artistic activities, including the signing of a novel in the Amazigh language “Ewes Netgart” by its author Ibrahim El-Asri, and an artistic evening with the participation of a group of bands Diverse musical.
The festival, which was organized under the slogan “Amazigh is the embrace of the arts”, by the “Teleli Association for Culture and Arts” in partnership with the Future Foundation and the Danish organization Dansk Ungdoms Fællesrå, on May 21 and 22, 2022, was known by Bate Aurier, a variety of programming, with the participation of a group of diverse artistic and lyrical groups from Outside the Marrakesh side, at the festival, which was organized between the Youth House and the Public Garden.
It began with the organization of a lecture organized by Professor Rachid Rakha, President of the Amazigh World Gathering and Director of the Amazigh World newspaper's publication, on "the importance of engaging in activating the recommendations of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages".
The organization of parallel activities initiated by the association was also known by drawing a large mural that includes the Tifinagh letters, in the context of deepening the theme of “Amazigh, the bosom of the arts,” which constituted a basic and prominent title for the identity of the festival.
Mr. Rashid Rakha; President of the Amazigh World Gathering and director of the publication of the Amazigh World newspaper, frames a lecture on "the importance of engaging in activating the recommendations of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages" in line with the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (2022-2032) launched by UNESCO and the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, Saturday May 21, 2022 in the Youth House, Aït Aourir, Al Haouz Province, at the opening of the first session of the “Teleli Festival for Amazigh Music and Culture”, organized over two days by the “Teleli Association for Culture and Arts” in partnership with the Future Foundation and the Danish organization Dansk Ungdoms Fællesrå and under the slogan “Amazigh is the bosom of Arts".
