Azawad: The Coordination of Azawad Movements strongly condemns the violations committed by the Malian army and Wagner against civilians in Minka and Quetta.
The Coordination of Azawad Movements has, with regret, noted for some time the reappearance of acts of torture, assassinations, kidnappings and theft of innocent property by the Malian armed forces and their Wagner collaborators on the entire territory of Azawad, in addition to the atrocities to which terrorists are subjected daily.
The latest and most despicable cases took place on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, respectively, in Keita in the Tenenkou district, Mopti state, by storming the Malian armed forces and their partners in the weekly exhibition of Keita, Halaf the number of dead, wounded, and injured civilians, and they also kidnapped a number of civilians in Charbli on November 27 2022, about 6 km southeast of Menaka, with the consequent looting and violations.
The Coordination of Azawad Movements unreservedly condemns these repeated and clear violations of human rights, regardless of the perpetrator and their motives.
While the CMA warned the state against the increasingly frequent duplicity, it demands the release of detainees, the immediate cessation of these atrocities, and the perpetrators of these killings brought to justice.
The Coordination of Azawad Movements sent an urgent appeal to humanitarian organizations to intervene on behalf of the displaced population to mitigate the effects of the ongoing humanitarian disaster
