The “National Institute of Archeology and Heritage” organizes a group of field exercises for the benefit of students
Within the framework of its annual program for the benefit of students, the National Institute of Archeology and Heritage organizes a group of field exercises from May 8 to May 28, 2023. 42 students benefit from them, and they are supervised by six professors from the institute.
This year's training is distinguished by its simultaneous organization and concerns the basic and master's corps. In addition, two of the trainings take place within the framework of international cooperation, as is the case with the training in anthropology, within the framework of an agreement signed with the University of Vienna (Austria).
It is also related to another training in the Lao Valley region, which is concerned with prehistoric periods, within the framework of a scientific program of archeology and genetics that brings the institute together with the Max Institute in Germany.
Basic corps students are also following their field training in Skhirat and Rabat. The training concerns learning excavation techniques, using modern technologies in that, and possessing skills in investigation, ethnographic description, and information collection and analysis.
