Barley bread industry
Barley bread industry 1--285
The Sumerians had invented barley bread in their language (bibir), and this name was perhaps the source of the derivation of the word bir (beer) in European languages, which is truly surprising, as they relied on the basic idea of making alcohol from barley grains, which is the source of grain storage. In porous containers that allow the grains to sprout due to the moisture that seeps into them, it is then called malt, in which carbohydrates are converted into sugar and alcohol by the intrinsic yeast formed during storage.
