Monologues of the Russian philosopher
Monologues of the Russian philosopher 1--1633
The Russian writer and philosopher Fyodor Dostoyevsky wrote to his beloved Maria saying:
On the street where you live, there are nine women more beautiful than you, seven women taller than you, nine women shorter than you, and another who loves me more than you do, and at work there is a woman who always smiles at me, and another who urges me to speak, and the waitress in the restaurant puts honey for me instead of honey. Sugar in the tea...but I love you...and after he married her, Maria was at home, his best wife. She endured his illness, his poverty, his travels, and his absence from her, and she endured all kinds of misery with him...and while she was on her deathbed, Dostoyevsky said to her: “Why? "I betray you even in memory."
