Monologues of the Indian philosopher
This is what the Indian (infidel Hindu) poet and philosopher Tagore says as he addresses his Lord, and let us compare it with what our sheikhs (believers) say in the pulpits.
**********************
“Teach me to love people as I love myself, and teach me to hold myself accountable as I hold people accountable, and teach me that tolerance is the greatest level of strength and that the love of revenge is the first manifestation of weakness. Do not make me a butcher who slaughters sheep or a sheep slaughtered by butchers. And if I offend people, give me courage. Apology.
And if people wrong me, give me the courage to forgive, and help me to speak the word of truth in the face of the strong, and not to speak falsehood to win the applause of the weak, and to see the other side of the picture, and do not leave me accusing my opponents of being traitors because they differed from me in opinion.
If you give me money, do not take away my happiness, and if you give me humility, do not take away my pride in my dignity, and do not let me become arrogant if I succeed, or despair if I fail.”
We cannot hear this monologue from our sheikhs. On the contrary, we hear from them only the culture of death, graves, hatred of others, and praying for them to be ruined and destroyed, and to disperse them.
