The French youtubeur Ben makes it a point of honor to demonstrate that Algeria is not a dangerous country, twisting the neck of this reputation maintained by Europeans.
Ben, the  French tourist who has become an Algerian by adoption, is back in Algeria. A few days ago and for the second time this year, the youtubeur put down his backpack in the Maghreb country for which he had a crush. Coming initially last May, his trip had won him over so much that he wanted to renew the experience and continue his exploration.
After tasting a "  karentika  ", his  favorite Algerian street food  , accompanied by a bottle of  Selecto , the youtuber strolled in the evening in Algiers, and took the opportunity to shoot a video posted on his social networks.

Algeria trip: when a French tourist breaks down preconceived ideas
Ben knows  Algeria  and its inhabitants well and he wants to restore the truth about a prejudice that is quite rooted among Westerners, namely the country's insecurity. An unfair image that the French tourist intends to denounce.
In a video posted this Monday, November 7, we see Ben attending an outdoor concert in the Bab El Oued district of Algiers. He writes: “When people tell me that Algeria is dangerous…” And shows the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere of the event, which proves the contrary. Men, women and children are all mixed together in a festive atmosphere.
In caption of his publication, one can read: “There are good people all over the world. A lot of people allow themselves to judge a people or a country without ever having set foot there…”
Ben is a friend of the Algerian people and they pay him homage by making him feel at home on each of his visits.
Insecurity in Algeria: Internet users react
As usual, the video of the  youtubeur provokes reactions from the people who follow him. In comments, we can read this kind of positive message: “You are welcome in Algeria. Algerians are known for their warm welcome, their joie de vivre and above all their sense of sharing”.

But the comments space also houses some debates, when some raise that Oran and Algiers are dangerous night cities for single women, the majority retorts that in France it is exactly the same thing, given the shocking feminicides that have been making headlines recently.
